Spotlights over ten years of work from photographer Riccardo Banfi.
Riccardo Banfi’s (b. Milan; lives and works in Venice and Milan) photography revolves around a probing examination of humans’ relationships with their environment, as reflected in their interactions with nature, landscape, technology, and residential and urban spaces. The photographs in the series were taken over the course of ten years, in Italy as well as other European countries and America.
The book Ho chiamato solo per dirti che ti amo (the title pays homage to the Stevie Wonder hit “I Just Called to Say I Love You”) contains an essay by Giovanna Manzotti as well as a conversation with the photographer by Saul Marcadent.
